Jason is committed to inspiring wonder on a massive scale. When Jason is not on stage you will find him changing education in the community. He serves on multiple educational boards and steering committees, coordinates and produces the Los Angeles Science Festival, donates Impossible Science events to inner cities, and holds nationwide and international contests to find the classrooms doing the most to inspire wonder.

The Official Los Angeles Science Festival

Jason is an active and founding member of the steering committee of the Los Angeles Science Festival City of STEM.

City of STEM

Board chairman & CEO of the Columbia Memorial Space Center Ben Dickow and Jason Latimer have grown the City of STEM Festival from the humble beginnings of the City of Downey, CA to now an annual science festival that unites all of Los Angeles County in events around STEM education for the month of April.

Impossible Science Student Challenge

Jason and CEO/Founder of Engineering.com Frank Baldesarra have teamed up to bring the Impossible Sciencel Live to schools! Open to all middle and high schools across United States and Canada, students compete in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics experiments to inspire wonder in the classroom.

With Engineering.com

By uploading their experiments to Engineering.com ProjectBoards on Invisibility, Levitation, Animation, Mind control and more, other schools that sign up to ProjectBoards have access to everyone's experiments. At the end of the contest, Latimer and Engineering.com bring a full live stage show to their school for the greatest assembly ever!
Our next cure, our next technology, our next revolutionary change will come from a question that has never been asked. The right question changes everything. Its wonder that changes the world. -Jason Latimer
